Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that housing management functions are carried out within current legislation.
- To ensure that all properties within a geographical patch are secure at all times.
- Ensure that all serious concerns are reported to a team leader / manager, and / or the Police as appropriate.
- Ensure that safeguarding’s, incidents, accidents and near misses are reported and responded to appropriately.
- Complete accident, incident and client file logs, and ensure that there is a written record of anything of significance throughout the night.
- Provide reports and data as required by team leaders or managers.
- Assist in the collection of rents and service charges where possible.
- Monitor CCTV footage as appropriate, ensuring the safety of customers and colleagues.
- Report repairs and maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure that health and safety and security checks are completed on a regular basis; escalating any concerns as appropriate.
- Clear and clean void rooms to enable them to be re-let as soon as possible.
- Participate in a handover at the beginning and end of each shift, working closely with day colleagues to ensure that any agreed actions are completed.
- Participate in team meetings as required.
- You will need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle with business cover.
- DBS checks are required for roles where you will be working with or have lone contact with Vulnerable Adults
Essential experience
- Experience of working with and supporting vulnerable people
- Experience of working with those experiencing addiction and/or poor mental health.
