About the role:
You will work on a night shift basis in a small Children's Home in a rural community within North Powys. The home supports 1 or 2 children/young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties due to their early life experience (Age 11-18). You will create a safe, healthy, learning, fulfilled home where children have their voices heard and acted upon to achieve positive outcomes in their lives.

What you will do:
- You will work on a night shift rota to provide continuous care as part of team to the children and young people living in the home.
- You will build positive relationships through nurture, teaching connection before correction with a patient and calm manner.
- You will promote healthy and safe routines by creating a warm, inclusive home supporting the day care team through continuity and structure within the home at the start and end of each day.
- Work in partnership with families and carers of young people in achieving the aims and objectives of the young people's plans.
- You will follow agreed policies, procedures, and legislative standards in your work. Always striving to keep up to date with best practice.
