My client is looking for a Night Shift Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leader in the Chester area.
You will assist the manager with budgets, reporting, staff rotas and recruitment.
You will be the main contact for compliance, audit, health & safety, and cleaning schedules.
In this role you ll be responsible for supervising cleaning operatives while overseeing the cleanliness of our clients premises.
You will ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are followed as per company policies and procedures which will include accident reporting / investigation, delivery of toolbox talks, maintenance of statutory and non-statutory records.
Duties
• Supervision of cleaning team around site
• Organise rota and cover of staff to ensure standards are met
• Responsible for equipment and Stores
• Interviewing/Selection Training and inducting new staff
• To hold regular staff meetings and organise training
• Attend mandatory training and meetings as required
• Communicate with client
• Maintain staff records and all other information
• Process payroll and charge-outs in a timely manner
• Making sure the periodic work was carrying out to the standard that was required by the company and the client.
• Responsible for making sure the operatives have the right equipment to carry out the job, and training new operatives before started any work.
• Ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
Skills
• Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous Supervisory/managerial experience
• A professional work ethic
