Night Shift Mechanical Plumber

I am currently recruiting for a plumbing looking for a permanent role, covering nights on a full-time 37.5-hour week basis. This is for a large Facilities maintenance sub-contractor with a national presence with opportunities all over the UK for progression and development opportunities. This is a 7 on - 7 off role so you will essential work 2 weeks per month giving you a lot of flexibility to enjoy an improved Work/life balance.

Job Details include:

• Salary 45,000 - 47,000 (including shift allowance)
• Night shift work
• 7 nights on - 7 nights off

Role and key responsibilities:

• In this role you will be responsible for Diagnosing faults, Repairing and maintaining complex equipment.
• You will be responsible effectively responding to reactive maintenance tasks needed to keep the site fully operational at all times.
• You will take part in planned maintenance tasks if needed set by the ppm planners and technical service supervisors and managers.
• The role will include maintenance of various mechanical systems including pipes, steam & hot water systems and anything else your skillset & experience can demonstrate
• You will also be unblocking drains and sewers
• Where possible carrying out work of other trades other in a collective effort to support the needs of the client.

Requirements:

• For this role you will need a recognised qualification City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 in a relevant trade
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial plumbing role
• Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
• Willing to undergo training in relevant areas to keep certificates updated to current legislative standards.
