Night Trunk Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a Class 1 (Class CE) Night Trunk Driver to be based from our depot in Newhaven.

Main responsibilities:

• Collecting freight from the Newhaven depot in an evening and delivering it to the hub in Midlands and awaiting a return load to return to Newhaven.
• Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the double deck trailer
• Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness

Key Skills and Experience:

• Hold a full up to date Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Hold a full Class 1 licence (with at least 6 months’ UK experience)
• Have no more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
• Good communication

This role is Monday evening to Saturday morning, 55 hours a week.
