The Job
For this position you will participate in a 1 in 4 rota covering 24/7 (45 Hours Per Week inclusive of bank holidays), (3 shifts on, 4 full days off). We are looking for a professional, organised, enthusiastic person to join our team who has excellent customer service skills as you will be customer facing. A good, calm, reassuring manner is essential with a strong attention to detail as well as a good all-round technical experience of IT. The role is part of the technical IT Service Desk team providing IT Support to staff.
Experience & Knowledge
Excellent customer Service communication skills (both verbal, written and in person)
Active Directory (Windows Server & Azure) and User Account management
Proficient in troubleshoot technical support issues.
Good knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems, Office 365 and PC, Laptop and Printer Hardware.
Previous IT Service Delivery experience and experience utilizing ITSM tools.
In-depth knowledge of ITIL framework processes.
Responsibilities
To support and maintain PC hardware, software, and bespoke IT systems (Training to be provided) either via the telephone, email, using remote control software, or in person.
Ensure all incidents and service requests are accurately recorded, prioritised and progress managed on the Service Desk system.
New account generation on Active Directory and downstream systems.
Liaise with on-call staff and third-party suppliers, following standard procedures for incident escalation.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
