Hygiene Operative

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our Abernethy Site. You will be responsible for ensuring our fresh potato factory and equipment meets auditing standards at all times.

The role of a Hygiene Operative is varied and involves a considerable amount of working on your own to complete hands-on manual hygiene tasks. Examples include;

• Cleaning of machinery & equipment
• Undertaking weekly deep cleans of operational areas
• Daily sweeping and cleaning of floors and surfaces
• Routine steam cleaning of washers and other equipment
• Undertake routine checks on all production areas to ensure they meet hygiene standards
• Keep accurate records of cleaning tasks & provide efficient handover to others within the team.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is utilised and stored correctly.
• Identify areas for improvement and assist with implementing policies and procedures across site.

Salary- 12.76 per hour (includes premium for working night shift)

Shift Patterns available;

• Mon & Tue 19:30-06:00
• Wed &Thu 19:30-06:00
