NNT Communications, Research, Improvement Officer/Swyddog Cyfathrebu,

This is an exciting opportunity to join the National Neurodivergence Team (NNT), to support the delivery of the national autism strategic action plan, the Code of Practice for Autism, and the ND agenda in Wales.
The main focus of this role is to develop ND specific content for a range of national training, awareness raising and supportive resources, based on evidence of need, research evidence and professional practice. The role provides communication, research and improvement capacity for the team.
A key aspect of the role is contributing to the maintenance of the existing website, and lead on the Team's social media outputs. The post holder will provide support in researching practise to inform future events, webinars and other developments. The role involves liaison with professionals across Health Boards and Local Authorities, voluntary organisations, parents/ carers, and neurodivergent people, and will have a significant role in communication and information sharing across these groups.
You should be someone who is able to hit the ground running, is able to build excellent working relationships with partners and stakeholders and be confident in communicating with a range of audiences, as the key point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders at a national, regional and local level.
You will need to be a motivated individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and adept at responding quickly to change.
The National ND Team (NNT) is funded by the Welsh Government to support the delivery of the national autism strategic action plan, the Code of Practice for Autism, and the ND agenda in Wales. The Team works closely with Welsh Government officials, public service colleagues and the autism community to help improve the lives of neurodivergent people and their families in Wales. The team is based within the Social Services and Housing Directorate of the WLGA.
The National ND Team (NNT) is a small team, where the need to work flexibly and collectively is crucial to the successful delivery of our work programmes: work streams frequently overlap, and this provides an opportunity for learning across all topics the team covers.
