A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A 1ST LINE NOC ENGINEER:
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering outstanding customer service through proactive communication.
- Efficiently managing incidents, changes, and information requests in ServiceNow.
- Troubleshooting our LAN and WAN product and service portfolio.
- Following internal processes to deliver and satisfy customer requests
You'll need to really know your stuff, so it'd be great if you had:
- At least 12 months of experience in a busy, customer-focused Telco, Data Centre, or IT service environment.
- Networking qualification like CCNA or a relevant degree.
- At least 24 months of specialist experience in LAN, WAN, or WLAN (CCNA or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Comfortable with 'shift' work.
BPSS, SC, and other clearances are required for this role.
The boring stuff:
- Permanent position
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (shifts of 7-3:30 / 9-5:30 & 10:30-7)
- A requirement to work 1 weekend in 6 - but days off given in the week and overtime paid for additional hours
- Office-based
