Non-Executive Members

The Department of Health is seeking to appoint a 2 x Non-Executive Members (1 x Finance and 1 x Lay) to the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service (NIBTS).

The position of Non-Executive Member offers an exceptional opportunity for you to play a key role in helping to shape and drive the delivery of essential health and social care services and to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Northern Ireland.

It is expected that the successful candidate will take up post in September 2024.

Essential Criteria

All applicants must show on their application form, and if invited for interview, how they meet the following Essential Criteria: Strategic Thinking; Corporate Governance and Accountability; and Working Together. In addition, applicants for the Finance Member position must show on their application form how they meet the additional Financial Management criterion.

Time Commitment: 20 days per annum; Remuneration: £3,294 per annum. The period of appointment will be for a period not longer than 4 years.
