Service are currently seeking a Registered Nurse or Pharmacist for an Independent Prescriber/ NMP role. The position is with a Community Drug and Alcohol Service that provides support for issues with drugs, alcohol or mental health. As an Independent Prescriber, you will be responsible for clinical assessment, diagnosis and management in line with national regulations, policies and procedures.

? Hours: 37.5 Hours

?? Pay Rate: up to £54 Per Hour

?? Type: Temporary

?? Location: North Lincolnshire

?? Start Date: ASAP

Key Duties:

- Work as a registered health care professional (prescriber), in designated service(s)

- Deliver health and wellbeing interventions for designated service(s)

- Assist in the development of systems, pathways and documents that promote holistic delivery of services (e.g. criminal justice, blood borne viruses).

The Perfect Candidate:

- First level nurse registration or registered pharmacist (GPhC)

- Successfully completed the supplementary/independent prescriber course and hold an appropriate entry on the NMC register or GPhC register

- Evidence of continuous professional development

- A successful track record of delivering nursing interventions in a community setting

- Knowledge of the issues affecting substance misusers, including the impact on their wider health
