We are currently looking for a NPD Picker

To lead, coach and mentor your team to deliver customer daily orders, to a high standard and in the most cost-effective manner whilst ensuring customer specifications and compliance with our site health and safety obligations are adhered to.

To work in collaboration and cross functionally across all Operations through the Supply Chain and departments.

On a daily basis you will be:

· Ensure compliance with company requirements regarding safety, quality, and legality of products.

· Adhere to Health & Safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.

· Collect individual flower stems from the warehouse and NPD chiller according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and schedule provided by Studio Manager.

· Maintain a fully stocked, clean, and orderly chiller for an efficient picking system.

· Use the Rubicon and warehouse system to locate and retrieve items efficiently within the main warehouse.

· Manage stock rotation of all items within the NPD chiller and NPD warehouse area.

· Dispose of out-of-date or out-of-specification stock.

· Identify and select high-quality flower stems in line with customer requirements, providing additional stems for florists as needed.

· Track and chase incoming stock deliveries to ensure timely arrival for picking and production schedules.

· Escalate any material issues to the Studio Manager promptly.

· Support florists with ad hoc tasks or last-minute stem requests.

· Assist in picking and supporting stock arrangement for customer 'play days' as required.

· Inspect the quality of incoming stock at the individual flower level before placing in specific buckets for florists to make bouquets.

· Support the NPD team with picking and delivering to the studio ahead of florists' needs.

· Ensure products are correctly scanned and located in stores using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

· Accurately record and label all chiller products.

· Scan all returning warehouse products to their correct locations.

· Ensure all stock movements in and out of Studio is scanned into NPD.

· Box up, label, palletise, and move NPD bouquets to dispatch for courier collection.

· Accurately assess and inspect raw materials.

· Assess and monitor the quality of flowers going into NPD against customer specifications using a predetermined checklist.

· Escalate issues with out-of-specification raw materials to the Studio Manager when sample execution is affected.

· Promote and uphold the 'clean as you go' policy.

· Foster a team approach to continuous improvement opportunities.

What you can already do.

· Experience within a warehouse environment (full training will be given)

· Good standard of education, specifically in English and Maths.

· High attention to detail, with strong organisational skills

· Problem solving

· Understanding of flowers is an advantage, however training will be provided

· Computer and systems literate in Microsoft Suite and WMS

· Good cultural fit against Company values and benefits

· Drive and determination
