Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious NPD Process Technologist to join their business.
Reporting into the Senior NPD Manager, this brand new role is an excellent opportunity for a Food or Fresh Produce professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Efficient Launch Execution: Drive timely and budget-conscious product launches, optimising efficiency throughout the process.
* Factory Operations Handover: Ensure correct setup and seamless handover of products to the factory operations team.
* Comprehensive Trials: Organise and conduct product and packaging trials, collating samples, yield information, and processes.
* Resource Planning for Trials: Plan and organise resources for day-to-day trial delivery, aligning with project timescales.
* Effective Sample Coordination: Coordinate internal and external sample requests, ensuring timely communication and delivery.
* Shelf-Life Taste Panels: Organise and coordinate shelf-life taste panels for thorough evaluation and feedback.
* Quality Contract Development: Assist in writing and developing quality contracts to uphold business commitment to product excellence.
* Artwork and Label Approval: Review and sign off on artwork and labels, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
* Sample Organisation for Meetings: Carry out and organise samples for customers and internal meetings, enhancing communication.
* Handover Pack Development: Develop clear and concise handover packs for the operation and technical teams, ensuring smooth transitions
