MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Food Manufacturer on the search for an NPD Technologist. This is a permanent role based onsite in Swindon.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify emerging consumer trends, assess market opportunities, and analyse competitor products to guide the development of new product strategies.
- Coordinate and facilitate food development processes, including sampling, preparation, and submission for both new and current clients.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance existing products by optimising ingredients, reducing costs, and improving production processes.
- Support production trials to ensure alignment with kitchen/development samples.
- Create and maintain product specifications, ensuring thorough completion of customer submission documents and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in sourcing new raw materials and packaging solutions.
- Oversee product timelines and resource allocation to deliver new and existing products on schedule and within budget constraints.
What are we looking for?
- Preferably possessing a bachelor's degree in food science or food technology.
- Familiarity with manufacturing/catering new product development processes and protocols.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Proficient in computer usage with strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication aptitude.
