Npi Engineer

As an NPI Engineer, you will be responsible for managing New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in adherence to the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) procedure, from quotation to production handover. Your responsibilities will include monitoring projects for Quality, Delivery, and Cost (QDC), setting up new parts in the ERP system, coordinating PPAP activities, conducting engineering evaluations for accurate quotations, and presenting gate reviews to senior management. You will also liaise with internal and external parties to compile precise data on manufacturability, processes, inspection steps, material needs, and cost estimations.

NPI Engineer Requirements:

• Degree, HND, HNC, Advanced Diploma qualified.
• Min. of 2 years' experience in an engineering role, preferably in an Aerospace related environment.
• Able to interpret and apply engineering, quality and H&S standards and specifications.
• Self-motivated, organised with excellent time management skills.
• Strong 'team player', utilising all available resources to get the best result.
• Engineering/manufacturing focused with a commercial awareness.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate including MS Office (MS Project is also desirable).
• Working knowledge of MRP systems, preferably Syspro.
• CAD experience (preference Solidworks).
