My client is a global organisation established in 24 countries and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. As a leader in the areas of data, analytics and technology, they are firmly regarded as being the go-to-organisation for helping a wide range of clients make sound commercial decisions. This role is a very rare opportunity for a junior lawyer (Solicitor or CILEx) between the NQ-2PE level who lives within commutable distance of Leeds and who has a real appetite for further knowledge and development.
A good solid understanding of and exposure to commercial contracts work is essential for my client and lawyers who have post-qualification experience in commercial contracts or who have undertaken a training contract seat in / had paralegal experience in a commercial contracts team would be of interest. A large part of my client\'s offering is advising on matters of data privacy. Therefore, any lawyers who have experience of advising on both commercial contracts and data privacy would be of particular interest. However, candidates who have good commercial contracts experience and who have a real interest in data privacy law and are keen to learn will also be considered. My client is very open to developing lawyers with an ambition to learn, as this role will involve working across multiple legal disciplines.
My client has a hybrid working policy which requires the successful candidate to work in the Leeds office 3 days a week. This requirement is not subject to negotiation, and therefore it is essential that candidates applying for this role are in a position to commute to Leeds. There are no set days of the week when the successful candidate will need to attend the office and there are opportunities for flexible working.
