NHS Grampian Chronic Oedema Service

BAND 7 Chronic OedemaHighly Specialist post

NHS Grampian Service - Hosted in Aberdeenshire Health and Social care partnership

18.75 hours per week Perm contract

Salary scale: £46,244 - £53,789 per annum / pro rata

Chronic Oedema Service covering all of NHS Grampian. Office Base – TBC Post will cover North Aberdeenshire and Moray

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and enthusiastic Allied Health Professional (AHP) or Nurse to join the NHS Grampian Chronic Oedema team.

This is a small specialist service working in acute and primary care, primarily based in a clinic setting, however, hospital and domiciliary visits are also required.

A high degree of clinical and motivational skills is required for this post and the post holder will have excellent communication, diagnostic and assessment skills. They will need to be up to date with current best practice guidelines and demonstrate excellent leadership skills.

The post holder will need to have an innovative flexible and forward-thinking approach to develop the Chronic Oedema Service and will take ownership of the strategic and operational delivery of the clinical service to meet the needs of patients within NHS Grampian.

The post holder will be a clinical specialist in their field and will provide clinical advice, support and teaching to other HCP within NHSG. The successful applicant will liaise with colleagues within NHS Scotland to take part in research projects and participate in the development of guidelines.
