We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and highly motivated individual to join our nurse education team at our Taunton campus. You will participate in the delivery and development of our nursing curriculum and ongoing student achievement and you will lead the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship programme at the University Centre Somerset (UCS). You will join our expanding team supporting apprentice nurses on adult and mental health pathways to meet the proficiencies published by the Nursing & Midwifery Council and become outstanding Future Nurses serving our community.
UCS is working in partnership with employer partners to deliver nurse education that underpins the evolving health and integrated care system in Somerset. Programmes are quality assured by the University of the West of England (UWE), with all teaching, learning and assessment delivered at our UCS campus in Taunton. Your responsibilities will focus on programme planning and quality assurance, teaching, learning and assessment, and supporting apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours throughout their time on programme. Working closely with our learners you will act as an ambassador for excellence in nursing and education.
