Person Specification:

NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification

Experience of working with babies

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Some of the responsibilities of Nursery Nurse include:

• Working as a key worker, observing children, recording their learning and development
• Setting up age appropriate activities and following EYFS Curriculum
• Supporting children at meal times and with personal care
• Building positive relationships with parents and key interfacing groups
• Promoting equal opportunity
• Participating in nursery events i.e. trips, fun days
• Working in partnership with parents and key interfacing groups
• Working to nursery policy and procedures
• Attending staff meetings and training as required
