Nursery Apprentice - Hove

Your new nursery You will be working as a Nursery Apprentice in a nursery based in Hove. You will be working with children aged 3 months to 5 years, working as part of a team to support their development. The nursery is part of a larger chain of nurseries which care of over 10,000 children across the UK. They have over 300 nurseries, of which 98% are rated as Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. Your new role Working as a Nursery Apprentice, you will be having daily adventures with the children using interactive play, reading with them and helping them develop through the EYFS curriculum. You will also be communicating with parents on a daily basis, discussing the activities they have been doing and their development whilst at the nursery. Your role will ensure a caring and supportive environment is present for the children to feel safe and looked after in. You will be supporting nursery colleagues encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also be promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures, ensuring they are being followed at all times. What you\'ll need to succeed The nursery are looking for someone who is keen to learn and develop within Early Years. You ideally will have previous experience working with children in the capacity of Nursery Staff, Teaching Assistant, Childminder, Nanny or similar. You will have a passion for making learning fun and engaging for every child they care for. You will have an ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults.The role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
