SalaryQueen Marys day nursery are looking for a Nursery Assistant to join their wonderful team at a beautiful nursery on Middle Hill.
Ideally we are looking for someone to work 2-6 Monday to Thursday and 2-5 on a Friday. or to take on a full time position working 40 hours a week.
Hourly wage £10.45 minimum depending on qualifications. Successful applicants must provide two satisfactory references and must have a clear DBS check.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
- Assist with personal care routines such as nappy/clothes changes, feeding, and naptime.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's day and any concerns or updates
Skills:
- Previous experience working with young children preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
