Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well-being of the children, and supporting the Nursery team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily care and supervision of children in the Nursery
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's progress
- Support the Nursery team in implementing educational programs and curriculum
- Provide guidance and support to children as needed
- Assist with meal times, diaper changes, and nap times
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
