We are looking to update and expand our bank of part time nursery workers at the College's Nursery based at our Truro campus. Applicants should be prepared to work flexibly to meet the operational needs of the nursery and is desirable that applicants have achieved or be working towards a relevant early year's qualification.
As a Part Time Nursery Worker, you will be expected to work effectively and respectfully as part of a team, be a positive role model for children and other adults and work to continue to provide a stimulating and consistently high-quality caring safe environment for children to develop in. All Nursery staff must have a full understanding and awareness of safeguarding children practices and children protection issues.
Please note that the Nursery opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am until 6 pm and the successful candidates would need to be available to contribute towards covering these hours. Interviews will take place as and when we receive suitable applications, so this role may close sooner than advertised. Following the recruitment process, for the successful candidate, it is likely there will be regular hours available commencing to start from January 2024.
