Nursery Deputy Manager - North London Full time - 4 days - 40 hours The hours are 8-6pm 4 days per week, with 1 day off per week. Salary up to £40k This role is for a co manager, they would also look at strong Deputy candidates. Part of a family Our client a Nursery setting based in North London is looking for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to work in all aspects of running of the Nursery. This role is super-numerary and as such the Manager is not counted in ratios. The Manager and Deputy run the Nursery autonomously and are accountable to the Owner, who is on hand to support as needed but does not play an operational role in the day to day running. Roles & Responsibilities Ensure excellent standards across all areas of the setting are maintained and developed to provide the best outcomes for our children and families. Ensure and enable excellent delivery of all aspects of the EYFS curriculum in a creative and inspiring way. Ensure the Nursery ethos of helping every child learn well is embedded and executed consistently throughout the Nursery and understood by all staff. Strong people leadership and role modelling to motivate the team and ensure effective and efficient deployment of staff in the Nursery. Strong partnership with parents and external agencies to support every child's learning, development and well being. Ensure all policies and procedures embedded in the setting; with safeguarding being paramount. Build occupancy to ensure the Nursery is operating at capacity; new children set-up and transitions.
