We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working Deputy Manager to join our nursery team at The Diamond Centre, NR7 8TR.
Salary

The Role
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day/40 hours per week, following a shift pattern. The Diamond Centre is open between the hours of 7.45am-6.30pm.
Key Duties
As a Deputy Manager your responsibilities are
Support the manager and team
Lead staff and teams
Building relationships with key children and their families
Provide a stimulating learning environment
Record and promote development
Ensuring the well-being and safety of the children
Support daily routines
Follow policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality
Safeguard the children from harm
Requirements
The successful applicant will need to have
Level 3 qualification
Management experience: 1 year+
Strong leadership skills
Work well in a team
Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS)
Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Excellent organisation skills and time-management
