NURSERY CHEF/HOUSEKEEPER – Kindred Nurseries

Kindred Nurseries has the opportunity for a Nursery Chef /Housekeeper.

This is a part-time position requiring the successful candidate to flexibly work 28 hours Monday to Friday. This role is offering a competitive salary with an extensive benefits package and the opportunity to feed your passion for growth and development.

The key responsibilities for a Housekeeper is to:

• Keep the setting both indoors and outdoors clean and organised, in accordance with COSHH guidelines
• Cleaning all areas of the nursery
• Use appropriate signage to indicate wet floors and other cleaning hazards.

The key responsibilities for a Nursery Chef is to:

• Ensure all children’s dietary needs are being met
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety are maintained
• Kitchen cleaning such as floors, walls, and countertops
• Prepare plates/cutlery for all rooms at mealtimes
• Collect all dirty dishes from rooms, wash and put them away

To be successful for this role you should:

• Good attention to detail
• A positive approach
• Previous experience working as a Housekeeper would be desirable, but by no means essential
