We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to join our thriving team in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for early childhood education and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the nursery team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

• Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the nursery and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum.

• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage nursery staff, promoting professional growth and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

• Parent Communication: Build strong relationships with parents, maintaining open and transparent communication about their child's development and well-being.

• Budget Management: Manage the nursery budget effectively, making informed decisions to optimize resources.

• Health and Safety: Prioritize and maintain high standards of health and safety within the nursery environment.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery setting.

• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing early years education.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

• Passion: A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

Hours:

This is a full-time position, and flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the nursery.
