Committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment, we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview:
As the Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our nursery to ensure the highest standards of care and education. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and ensuring the well-being and development of our children.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Lead a team of dedicated childcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Foster a collaborative and positive working environment among staff members.
Quality of Care and Education:
Oversee the development and implementation of an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and education provided, making continuous improvements as needed.
Ensure the health and safety of all children and staff within the nursery.
Parental Engagement:
Build strong relationships with parents, ensuring effective communication and involvement in their child's development.
Organize and participate in parent meetings, events, and workshops.
Administration and Compliance:
Manage administrative tasks, including staff schedules, budgets, and record-keeping.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery setting.
Sound knowledge of early childhood development and education.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience from £85-£95 per day.
