We're currently looking for experienced Nursery Nurses to join established settings in Leeds, ready to start as soon as possible. Located in Leeds, our client operates several outstanding settings catering to children aged 0-5 years. These settings prioritise the welfare of the children, seeking caring individuals who prioritise the children's well-being and foster strong relationships with both the children and their families. As a creative practitioner in the early years, you'll have the opportunity to implement your knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, working alongside proactive professionals in a collaborative team environment. The Responsibilities:
- Plan creative and age-appropriate activities to support children's specific development
- Conduct accurate observations to document each child's progress
- Assist with children's hygiene routines and mealtimes
- Contribute to a safe and enjoyable environment
- Uphold safeguarding protocols and maintain daily diary records
- Be an enthusiastic and proactive team member
- Support colleagues with key worker responsibilities
The Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Randstad
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 is essential
- NVQ Level 3 or above/equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Desired (but not essential):
- Safeguarding training
- Paediatric first aid training
- Food and hygiene training
- Health and safety training
