Form of workClass People are working with an array of day nurseries within Gloucester who are currently looking for Nursery Nurse Practitioners to join their teams day-to-day, long-term and permanently for the right person.
Ideally you will hold a Level 2/3, CACHE, EYE, or recognised equivalent childcare qualification. However, if you do not hold a childcare qualification but instead have at least 6 months experience within nursery settings and a potential willingness to undertake a qualification, then we would still love to hear from you! You will also ideally be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of both the EYFS framework and key worker practices.
Responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with the children and broadening their horizons, extending their learning, development and educational outcomes.
- Help to oversee and organise the planning and delivering of activities.
- Observe the children in their playing and learning and provide evaluations.
Qualities:
- You will ideally have a recognised childcare qualification (although not essential).
- An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems.
- An understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
