Nursery Nurse/ Room leader

Main purpose of the job: to meet children's needs to offer secure and caring and supportive environment.

Qualification required: level 2 or 3 and few years experience working with children

Tot town are looking for someone who has experience.

Nursery Nurse/ Room leader Duties:

• You must have a warm smiling face that makes every child smile.
• Taking responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children in your care and those you come in contact with.
• To have good a good understanding with parents.
• To support other members of the team
• To implement the daily routines of individual children in your care alongside the EYFS
• To respect the confidentiality of parents and other members of the team by not passing on any information.
• To be able to work under pressure
• Room meetings once a month.
• Developing successful relationships with children and their families.
• Supporting children at mealtimes and toilet training

What you need:

• Special Skills required!
• Having a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special.
• You must be prepared to feel loved special and important to many young children and their families.
• Clear DBS
• To have good experience working with pre school children.
• Have a good understanding of EYFS observations and learning journeys and setting next steps for individual children.

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Childcare nvq3: 1 year (required)

working with children: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability: Day shift

Willingness to travel: 100% (preferred)
