Job Title: Nursery Practitioner Location: Worthing Start date: Immediate start Pay: £10-£13 an Hour Position Overview At Supply Desk we are looking for passionate and committed Nursery Practitioners to work in a range of Nurseries in the Worthing area. As a Nursery Practitioner, you play a vital role in the daily care, education and physical and mental well-being of young children. You will work with a supportive and dedicated team to create a safe, exciting, and inspiring environment for young learners who are developing minute to minute- some of the most rewarding people you will ever work with Your Responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality care and support for young children. Create and implement educational activities appropriate for Nursery age children. Be vigilant and conscientious to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Develop positive relationships with the children and their parents/carers. Work with colleagues to plan and organise daily routines. Maintain a sanitary and safe and nursery environment complying with Health and Safety standards. Document children's development and liaise with management and Parents/Carers. Qualifications: Right to Work in the UK. Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one. Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent would be a positive though not essential. Previous experience in a Nursery or childcare setting is preferred. A genuine passion for working with children. A commitment to contributing to children's development. Knowledge child development and early learning principles is a plus.
