Nursery Practitioner
The nursery is looking for an experienced Educator or apprentice to join their exciting, fun-loving and dynamic team.
Key Roles and Responsibilities :-
- To provide a stimulating and caring environment, within a play-based curriculum, to nurture children’s natural drive to grow and learn.
- To plan for key children’s individual needs, both emotional and developmental.
- To summarise, in report format for parents and other professionals, children’s learning and development in conjunction with their 2-year progress check.
- To build relationships with parents and carers, encouraging an effective working partnership.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS.
Qualification and Experience: -
Any recognised childcare qualification, minimum level 2 or 3, with prior experience in a similar environment.
All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Personal qualities: -
An enthusiastic, energetic, forward-thinking and proactive person, with the desire and ability to provide top quality learning and childcare. This person must be a team player. They will also be friendly, caring, approachable and have a love for being outdoors and getting muddy.
Hours of work: -
Up to 40hrs per week, between 8am and 6pm, as required.
Rate of pay: -
Hourly rate dependent on level of qualification.
