Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. Duties
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Monitor and observe children's development and behavior
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the best care for each child
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
- Assist with meal times, nappy changes, and other personal care needs
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- A genuine passion for working with children
