We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our “outstanding” nursery. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. Duties:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Observe and monitor children's development, behaviour, and progress
- Provide personal care, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with hygiene routines
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery
- Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities and progress
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Ability to effectively manage a group of children and maintain their safety
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Leadership skills to guide and supervise other staff members
