Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. Your role will involve creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and develop essential skills.
Duties:
- Provide a stimulating and engaging environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime
- Assist with meal times, ensuring children receive nutritious meals
- Monitor children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians regarding their development
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to ensure the smooth running of daily operations
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in childcare or early childhood education is preferred
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Leadership qualities to guide and supervise children in a nurturing manner
- A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions
