Our client is looking for a full time Toddler Room Supervisor to join their team of highly qualified and experienced nursery practitioners and Early Years teachers at their Ofsted Outstanding day nursery.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Toddler Room Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role within the settings unique team. Your responsibilities will include:
- To be responsible for any tasks as outlined by the Nursery Manager
- To support a team of talented practitioners to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes delivery of the curriculum for children’s optimal learning and development
- Collaborating seamlessly with the team for smooth operations and to create an engaging environment for the children
- Share the settings child-led approach to ensure that every child thrives and is supported to reach their full potential as an independent, inquisitive learner
- Build strong relationships with children and their parents/carers and other staff members
- Serve as a key person for specific children and accurately recording their development
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Safeguarding regulations
- Upholding and promoting core values and implementing nursery policies and procedures
Essential Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a nursery setting is required for this role, with relevant qualifications in Childcare/Early Years at Level 3
- Strong leadership skills and able to support team members
- Confidence in supporting the effective running of the room by being organised, with the ability to plan and prioritise work
- Passionate and enthusiastic about early years education and childcare
- Having great initiative and a “can do” attitude
- Good knowledge of safeguarding with commitment to child protection and health & safety
- Paediatric First Aid (required)
- Safeguarding (required)
- DBS (required)

Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday 43.5 hours per week, to start asap
Location:
Upton, CH49 0TN with good public transport links
Candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
