Nursery Room Leader

Southern Education Recruitment support several local Nurseries; based in Maidstone and Medway and are now seeking the following staff to work on a supply basis to cover sickness or when additional staff is required: 

-        Room Leader/ EYFS Specialist 

The role: 

Working on a supply basis would mean you would be employed by Southern Education Recruitment (SER) and available for both longer term and adhoc Nursery work based around Nursery requirements, your availability, relevant experience and qualification level. 

Requirements:  

• Level 3 or higher in Child Care, NNEB (or equivalent), EYFS Specialist qualification.  

• An Enhanced DBS subscribed to the Update Service or a willingness to undertake one  

• At least 6 months UK experience working within Nurseries or Children's Centre settings  

• Some experience of leading staff in an Early Years Setting  

• Be hard working with a passion for Early Years Education  

• Be able to build strong relationships with children, colleagues and parents  

• Have sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and safeguarding  

• Ability to promote positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues  

• Be a role model for positive behaviour  

• Plan and provide engaging activities that children are inspired by 

• Schedule: You must be available for either/ both short days (8:00-16:00) and/ or long days (7:30-18:30)
