Nursery Teacher required for a Nursery and Infant School in Hemel Hempstead. This is a part-time position starting in April.
As the Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for nurturing and stimulating the learning of children aged 3-5 years. Your primary goal is to create a safe and conducive environment for the children to explore, develop, and grow.
Position: Nursery Teacher
Contract: Part time 0.5 to 0.6
Pay: MPS1 to MPS4 (pro rota)
Location: Hemel Hempstead
As the Nursery Teacher you will be required to;
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Assess and track individual progress, providing feedback to parents regularly
- Foster and maintain effective partnerships with parents, ensuring open communication
- Collaborate with the wider school team, including teaching assistants and other staff members
- Organise and participate in extracurricular activities and events
- Safeguard the welfare of children at all times, following the school's policies and procedures
Requirements to become a successful Nursery Teacher at this school
Possess a relevant teaching qualification (QTS status desirable)
Experience working with nursery-aged children, preferably within an EYFS setting
Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
