Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Classroom Activities: Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
Individualized Support: Provide support to children with varying abilities, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Communication: Maintain open and positive communication with parents, updating them on their child's progress and well-being.
Classroom Management: Assist in maintaining a well-organized and stimulating learning environment.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive teaching team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Relevant childcare or education qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm and caring demeanor with a passion for early childhood education.
