Job Setting
A dedicated Staff Nurse is needed with excellent knowledge of dementia to work within a well established, small Nursing Home in Newark, Nottinghamshire. This home provides nursing services to the elderly with dementia and mental health conditions.
The home takes pride in being person centred along with the excellent reviews they have received on (url removed). A homely feel and committed staff are among the reasons this home has such an excellent reputation in the local community.
You will have excellent clinical skills and a naturally caring approach. You will be putting together treatment plans and overseeing a team of care assistants and the successful Staff Nurse will have excellent leadership skills.
Staff Nurse Skills and Responsibilities
- Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
- Wound management
- Administering oxygen
- Putting together treatment plans
- Overseeing a team of care assistants
- Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team
Staff Nurse Requirements
- Hold a relevant nursing qualification
- Be registered with the NMC
- Have satisfactory references
