Salary: £23,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on Qualifications and Experience)

Falcons Learning is a nurturing, independent special school dedicated to offering tailored educational experiences for learners with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) barriers. With aspirations to be class-leading, Falcons Learning provides a dynamic educational setting for up to 28 learners, aged 11-18, who have not been able to access mainstream education. The Role
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher who is passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of children with SEMH. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, responsible for planning, developing, and delivering a comprehensive educational curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualised education plans (IEP) to meet specific student needs.
- Plan and deliver engaging and adaptive instruction.
- Utilise a variety of instructional strategies to enhance student development.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with other educators and parents to support comprehensive student development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Valid teaching certification with specialization in special education.
- Experience in a primary school or special education setting, with a strong understanding of SEMH.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and creative approach to teaching.
