Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Technician in Bridgwater, Somerset on a full time permanent basis. The role is to work onsite and will be a mixture of day and evening shifts. A typical monthly working pattern will be 3 weeks of day shifts (08.00am - 16.00pm) followed by 1 week of night shifts 3.00pm - midnight shifts Monday - Thursdays and Friday 11.00am - 3.00pm). You will work alongside a multidisciplinary occupational health team undertaking:
- Performing Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys of personnel and site activities for a range of chemical, physical and biological agents.
- Participating in specific Occupational Hygiene related investigations and studies.
- Carrying out regular workplace inspection to assess Occupational Hygiene related aspects.
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of training and information materials on Occupational Hygiene related topics.
- Contributing to the Occupational Hygiene performance reports.
To apply for the Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Technician role you will have a degree qualification in a Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics subject area and preferably at least three years’ work experience of industrial and/or construction environments. You will need to be an affiliate member of the faculty of Occupational Hygiene (AFOH).
Salary: £24,000 Base Salary + travel allowance and unsociable hours adjustments (£29,112 OTE)
