Occupational Hygienist Technician

Our client is seeking an Occupational Hygiene Technician to join their team in Somerset within their occupational health service.

You will report into the Occupational Hygiene lead as part of their delivery team.

The main duties of the role include:

Perform Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys of personnel and site activities
Participate in specific Occupational Hygiene related investigations and studies
Carry out regular workplace inspections
Assist with preparation and delivery of training and information materials
In support of the COSHH coordinator and COSHH management function
Produce regular reports of chemicals on-site eg; maximum quantities
Ensure chemical database is maintained with up to date information

Essential Skills:

Degree qualification in a Science, Technology, Engineering and related subjects.
