Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to develop personalised intervention plans.
• Intervention and Rehabilitation: Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance client's functional abilities and promote independence in daily activities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physiotherapists, and social workers, to coordinate holistic care plans for clients.
• Client Education: Provide education to clients and their families on adaptive strategies, equipment, and community resources to support ongoing independence.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and client progress, ensuring compliance with professional and organisational standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC Registration
• Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a health care or rehabilitation setting.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Empathy and a client-centred approach to care.
• Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and techniques.
