Cpl Healthcare in partnership with the Government of Jersey are seeking highly skilled and Occupational Therapists to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
· The successful applicant will work within our team of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor and Occupational Therapist Assistants.
You will be expected to:
- Hold a caseload in which you will be expected to manage autonomously and using prioritisation skills to ensure people are seen in a timely manner to appropriately manage any risks.
- Assess, develop, implement and evaluate OT care plans using a person centered approach with service users in acute care and/or in the community.
- Liaise and effectively communicate with all relevant parties, including GP's and carers.
- Promote innovative and creative ways of working using the resources available to achieve the possible care and outcomes with service users with complex needs.
- This post would include some work within the community; therefore, it is desired that the successful applicant can drive.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council or be eligible for registration.
- Advanced and practical knowledge of Occupational Therapy models of practice and treatment approaches.
- Experience in training/teaching others and providing clinical supervision at a Senior level.
- Strong relationship building, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Rights to live and work in the UK & Ireland
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
