Occupational Therapist - Mental Health

Location: Camden, London

Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract

Pay Rate: GBP28 - GBP30 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Occupational Therapist:

• Female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Provision of ADL assessments, therapeutic engagement, input around behaviour support plans and care plans to support identified goals for therapeutic management of violence and aggression.
• Work closely with the ward teams to facilitate safe and effective discharge planning including attending MDT meetings.
• Carrying out home assessments where indicated, writing reports and recommendations.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist
• Recent NHS experience
• Registered with the HCPC
