Occupational Therapy Assistant working within the East London Community Forensic
Occupational Therapy team. The occupational therapist will work across the different boroughs covered by our service. The
Occupational Therapy Assistant role will be focused on carrying out 1:1 work under the guidance of Occupational Therapist, as well as the planning and delivery of therapy groups.

- To support the OT service in providing specialist OT treatment in community settings
- To implement the OT treatment plans through the provision of specialist individual and group treatment programmes
- To positively contribute to the development of the forensic mental health Occupational Therapy service
- To collaborate with the MDT team in its provision of assessment and treatment of service users
- To develop the community mapping resources
