This is an exciting opportunity to develop a team that is undergoing a period of development. You will work within the team to undertake strengths-based assessments and deliver appropriate person-centred support and outcomes for people in South Cumbria who have care and support needs.

You will have the opportunity to develop your professional role, grow in confidence, understand the variety and scope of work undertaken by adult Social Care, all within a safe and supported environment. You will work alongside social workers, reablement, HAWCs and our colleagues from health and housing to ensure customers receive the OT / OT Social Care Worker intervention they need when and where they need it.
The post holder will actively promote the work of Westmorland and Furness Council, internally and externally, on the development and delivery of continuously improving modern and competitive services for the people of Cumbria.
