Job description

Our client, a UK sports surfacing industry, provides a full 360 lifecycle solution for artificial turf. From new installation to maintenance and sustainable recycling, they are the first UK sports surfacing contractor to offer such comprehensive services.

They are seeking an Office Coordinator Apprentice to join their team in Grangemouth on a full-time basis. In this on-site role, you will support their Contracts Team by liaising with suppliers and customers. You will be responsible for sourcing pricing, products, and materials, managing client expectations and communicating relevant information to the appropriate stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Being a first point of contact for staff and suppliers
  • Problem solving to deal with enquiries attempting to resolve issues, and escalating issues when required
  • Raising purchase orders through our inhouse system called Construct
  • Setting up new contracts through Adobe PDF and Adobe Sign
  • Providing digital support to the Pre-Contracts Co-ordinator and operations staff
  • Arranging training for staff and maintaining records on their internal CRM
  • Using construction management software to pull together operation and maintenance manuals
  • Distributing digital documents to various departments
  • Assisting in pulling together site Health and Safety programmes
  • Ordering PPE / stationery on banner as required

Required skills:

  • Accurate typing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office with good degree of computer literacy
  • Experience within a busy office environment
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Approachable and flexible nature
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Proactive personality

Salary:

£24,000 per annum

Working hours:

36.25 hours per week, 8am - 5pm or 7am - 4pm with 45 minute lunch
